[Spridgets] need tips on installing beauty rims for a 62 Sprite

Well I bought a set of beauty rims form Peters shop but I can't get them on.
I have the stock wheels for the 62 which are also the same ones for the
Bugeye (with the little holes) and I sat down and used my feet with shocks
on so I wouldn't scratch the beautiful chrome but it is just not working. I
didn't want to use my rubber mallet because I am afraid I will damage the
chrome or dent the rim. Any good tips out there?
