Sounds like you just described a Sprite Sway bar.
Total width 30"
Main straight 24"
Each first bend 4"
5" from c of bend to c of mounting hole
It has 2 bends on the sides, I did not check those as it's dark and my 
square is in the truck tool box. But they look to be 60/30 + or -
Spridget sway bars are 9/16".
