Interesting stuff - will have to go back and do some reading there.  I noticed that Subaru was left off the list.  The emblem for Subaru represents the seven stars of the Pleiades constellation (also known as the Seven Sisters and as Taurus).  I forget the significance to Japanese history or why the parent company, Fuji Heavy Industries, named their vehicle operations this.  Just another example of useless trivia locked up in my head.
