Those pins wear out.
Try either a shim behind the pin, there should be one there as original, 
either make a thicker one or double it up. It's just a metal spacer thing.
Examine the peg, the leading edge wears from years of hitting the latch.
Or days of wear if it's an asian repro but knowing Crash, it's an 
original, don't even bother with the asian repros. 6 months max, less if 
you use the door.
