Marc,
Wirebrush the engine with a brush on a drill. It's
addictive because it's so effective, and you end up
with a perfect painting surface in no time. In the
engine bay if you're not going to paint it, I use
large disposable shop wipes labeled as good for
degreasing and safe for hands. I mean the handi-wipe
kind. It doesn't take many of those, either.
