Ahh!  Sorry, My comments about "reading" the Tach of course don't apply with
mechanical ones!

It could still be the valves binding if the clearances are a bit tight.

It is a Bugeye, one maybe the nicest restoration I have seen. All orginal or
better. Mechanical tac, standard everything.
