[Spridgets] steering column types

I've been watching this thread....

I have a 72 RWA with the "get-yer-pinky-stuck-the-hole" steering wheel.
I also have a 69 with the banjo style spoked steering wheel. Which I 
would much rather have on the 72.

Can the complete 69 steering column migrate to the 72 vehicle?
