Subject: [Spridgets] Sprite door locks

Why did somebody bother with the keyed locks on a Bugeye?
Even on later Spridgets if you want to get in, just undo a couple snaps
on the top, reach in and unlock the door.
1st rule of owning a convertible car....
Never EVER lock the car because the thief will just slash the top to
steel your radio.

I used to have a 65 Sting Ray convertible. The driver's side door lock only
worked if it damn well felt like it. I never got it fixed for that very
reason. I had to hold my breath every time I parked the thing as I figured
it would take all of 15 seconds to steal it. 17, if the door was locked.
