This is not LBC related but a very interesting video of a 1966 VW 21 window
bus which was found in a desert and shot up will holes. Very eerie sound
file used in the video. Being I am a member of the Samba site forums as well

Samba site and wouldn't you know today the owners are offering the bus to
those who donated parts & labor to purchase it for 10K before they put it on
eBay with a reserve of 10K.



For those who are familiar with the 21 window or 23 window VW bus years up
to 1967 Split Window design they can fetch up to 60K in restored condition
and I've seen them get near 10K as a completely rusted out shell so I would
not be a bit surprised they do get 10K on eBay as someone with money to burn

Although I would love to see the look on the face of a Barrett-Jackson
auctioneer as well as the audience if it ever got there.



I wish our Spridgets would fetch this kind of money as they are even better
than the VW J
