[Spridgets] Ducati: NO LBC

I'm out of lurk mode to ask:

I'm working on a 1966 Ducati single.  Has a permanent magnet generator which
I'm running through a 12V solid state rectifier/regulator.  But I want a
generator warning lite, which was originally run throught the old coil style
regulator.

Any thoughts on a cheap, tiny, simple means to do this?
