I only need to use that machine a few times a year.  And when I do, I
want to turn the key and hear music.  12 of those little critters seem
to push a lot harder than 6.  And my 1-wire alternator upgrade keeps
them well fed.

And, so why are you dissin' the Les Paul?

How come you have 12 volts in a '53 Ford?  6 volts sounds cooler.
