I agree with the others who say to change the filter now. Also, you can send a sample of the oil to a lab to be analyzed as to it's metallic contents. A friend of mine runs a high performance boat with twin supercharged 502s. He sends a sample to the lab at every oil change for analysis. It has saved him a fortune by predicting bearing wear due to the contents in the oil. Since the cylinders, rings and bearings are all made of different metals, they can be identified and severe wear can be predicted.
