[Spridgets] Bugeye door latches

It certainly does help keep you awake on long road trips when the driver's 
door pops open every 50 miles or so. Yes, I lubricated it and tried every 
possible technique for closing it, but whenever the side curtains were on, 
the door had a tendancy to open itself. A quick examination seems to 
indicate that the piin in the latch must not be going far enough into the 
hole in the cone, but what is the best way to correct this?
