Well, it wasn't raining (no top ot tonneau!) and the temperature was just 
above freezing (no heater), so I thought I'd see how it drives now that the 
wiring is done and al the switches, instruments and lights work..
The engine sounds and runs good - slow to warm up and it steers and 
brakes nicely. The ride is a bit rough
BUT it keeps dropping out of 4th gear... I have to hold it in with one hand 
and steer with the other!!

Does anybody have a good 1275 ribcage gearbox that they'd sell me??
I can't do the work myself (triple bypass) but there is a shop in Walla-Walla 
(60 miles away) that'll do the swap for me if I can get one...

Anyone???
