[Spridgets] Snow days

Ummm... not many people live at the airports. METARs are
observations *at* the airport while TAFs are forecasts for a 5 mile
radius of the airport. For the best and most substantial weather
information use http://weather.gov and click on the map where you
live. It will get you the local forecast office home page and all
their forecasts, radar, satellite...etc. as well as historical weather
data.

Of course, the main thing to remember is that the atmosphere is one
terribly complicated problem to figure out and nobody yet has ever
been perfect in doing it. I'll stand by the guys and gals of the
National Weather Service for quality every time though... They are
the best.

Cheers!!
Jim
