Save much time and trouble and fit a TB setup from a late model
injected motorcycle.
You can find them cheap on ebay from people who want their bikes to go
200MPH instead of the factory 150MPH.
Once you get TB with sensors and injector you can fit an intake air
temp sensor, coolant temp sensor, and O2 sensor.
The EDIS system is good and not too hard to acquire and fit.  The
optical trigger works, too.
The MegaSquirt can be used for just injection or both injection and
ignition.  You can control timing for forced induction applications.
