Hey! That's what Donato said about MY car!
I didn't realize he was plagiarizing.

Hell, I'm in one or two of those books.

Also, you know Burt is "the ride mooch" and drives everyone's race cars?
He
drove my old Red Rat Bastard one lap at Road America and got out of it,
muttering it was the worst, most diabolic handling POS he's ever driven.

Wow - One Spridgeteer wife and now a daughter reading Burt? I thought I
was
doing well to raise a gear-head son in today's world of video gamer
kids.
You
guys rock in your ability to find spouses and ability to raise kids!

My wife loves to drive fun cars and like me refuses to own anything with
an
automatic (She drives a 2005 Mini Cooper). She really isn't interested
in
going with me to events or reading about cars, though. I've always
considered
myself lucky to have found her - not to mention somehow convincing her
to
marry me... Glad to see there's hope out there for my son to do as good
or
better than I did.

By the way - I wear my "Do you know Buddy Palumbo?" button to every car
show
and cruise night I attend. Occassionally it starts a cool conversation
on
the
books.

 - David
