[Spridgets] Eric Jones passed away

A real loss for the hobby.
I had the pleasure of writing an article for the late Britsh Car
Magazine about Eric and his re-creation of a Works MGB rally car a
number of years ago. Later I had a chance to navigate for him on a
couple of SCCA rallies in vintage class. He would often beat the current
"computer cars" using only his Halda instruments and his skill. I last
saw him at the MG Vintage Racers focus event last fall at Mid-Ohio when
he spent a day crewing for me. He told me then he probably would not be
back "next year."

Sad news to all of us in the LBC community.

Eric passed away Sunday shortly after his Riverside Motors' annual
End of Summer Party. He had been battling Mesothelioma.

He will be missed by all that knew him.
