[Spridgets] Gate's PowerGrip Hose Clamps

Hey Listers,
Anybody using or had any experience with the Gate's PowerGrip hose clamps?  
Guy at the parts store said they were a PITA to get on, but then what do they  
know. I've got my Samco hoses I'd like to install and thought these clamps 
would  make for a clean and neat appearance.
