[Spridgets] Air pump ports

The ports on my head are 1/8 x 27 NPT.  Allen head plugs are available at
your friendly local ACE hardware.

I want to put allen head plugs into the abandoned emissions air pump
ports in a de-smogged 1275 head.

I seem to remember they are threaded 7/16-20 UNF but am not sure.

Can someone verify for me what will thread in there, or will I need to
drill and tap to another size.

The last time I did this, the head I was working on was not in the car
and I neatly closed up the ports with nifty Allen set screws or pipe
plugs that fit flush and don't look "cobbled."

Suggestions?
