[Spridgets] Carfax VIN search

My sense is they prefer not to deal with older vehicles. 
Or the documentation may not exist.

I gave my neighbor my VIN to do a carfax history report and since it didn't
have 17 digits ( i have 13) they wouldn't accept it for a search.
Anybody run into this before?
