Good point(s), Derf.  I'd overlooked the effect of road shock on the
A-arms, with the "hard" bushings.

I think the rubber helps with the wear and tear on the (fragile) A-arms.
Good rubber is hard to find, though.
Maybe some of that softer poly that another lister mentioned is the
answer.
