Hi List, I was able to sort out my dipstick problem using one from my Marina engine (same as the Ital) which has a tapered type of rubber/nylon seal and is a really tight fit. 'Course now I'll be searching for a replacement Marina/Ital dipstick. Regards Daniel1312
