A word about GR starters....

"a weak battery will start your engine", blah, blah, blah...

Well...not for long as GR starters are prone to contact deterioration with other than a strong battery. A weak battery will severly
burn the contacts and result in no starter in
less than six months. BTDT with a new battery that had a bad cell right off the shelf.

Otherwise they work just fine and are great for hi-compression motors but add a "dynamic battery check" to your oil change sched or whatever as weak batteries and GR reduction starters are not
a compatible pairing.
