[Spridgets] SOS '07 Day 1

Hey y'all,

 

About 25 SOS'ers showed up yesterday. We got a lot done. We've got a lot
more to do.

 

Folks liked the grilled pork loin. they scarfed it all up.   Swedish
pancakes this AM. can anyone stop and get a couple bottles of maple syrup
(and maybe lingenberries for those wanting authentic?) on their way in?
Smoked salmon today, more pork, and who knows what else.

 

Mary Albrecht's MKI Midget took some effort, but it was running sweet by
day's end.

 

We're going to have to pick up the pace on the deconstructing of the rot
bucket Spridgets. Lots of good parts are being saved though. Just to ease
Frank's mind. these cars are the equal to "Rusty" that he cut up a while
ago. They were rotted out in the 60's and 70's, poorly repaired, and rotted
again. then aged in a bed of raccoon pooh. No amount of taco bell wrappers
and drywall screws would make these things safe for the road again.

 

I've got to start making pancakes. see you online.
