Dave, bring your alternator with... we have a really good rebuild shop in
Fond du Lac.

That is so strange... I don't seem to be able to find a single meaningful
contribution to the List signed "David Booker", yet someone using that name
wants to put a muzzle on the List. Let me point out that the ONLY way to
keep political garbage off the List is to keep flooding it with that
insidious Spridget propaganda. It works every spring and summer, why not try

it during the winter, too?

Does anyone know of a source for good rebuild parts for a Lucas alternator?
If I am going to go to all that work, I want to at least be able to delude
myself into thinking it will last as long as the original semiconductors and

brushes did. Yes, I know that I can use other alternators, but I have
finally been bitten by the originality bug and I want to do my 1973/4 bronze

yellow RWA Midget as original as I can without becoming one of those anal
concours freaks (see WST's earlier post for the correct definition of
"freak"). I foresee alternator issues along the way (doesn't take much of a
crystal ball for that), so I would like to find some early answers.
