I remember seeing one in either '58 or '59 at the drag strip, Paul.  Fella
with a '57 Chevy with 283 and dual quads said it was "invented" in NC and was
the single best thing he had added to car.  Old setup was pipe to rear quad
and there was a "T" there that let pipe continue to front quad.

Me thinks a tad bit of over-kill for 99.9% LBCs.
