Yeah, most of those immigrant "minors" couldn't even get driving licenses
'cuz they were too young.
Sorry, BZ, I couldn't resist.  My will power isn't what it once was!
BTW when I was in high school my best friend's parents still had a savings
account book from the Bank of Italy.

How many of you know that Bank of America was originally called Bank of
Italy, and was founded in SF during the gold rush days to help immigrant
minors open bank accounts? They changed the name to B of A around the turn
of the century. I've noticed they no longer mention this in their corporate
history.
