A road that runs just north of the office building where I work was recently 
converted from one-way to two-way traffic.  The origin of the name of the 
street is lost in the mists of local intiquity, but the change over resulted 
in the following sign being placarded prominently all over downtown:

"Gay Street Now Two Way"
