The letters/numbers are 3/16" tall with spacing as follows.....

  1/16th between HAN
  1/8th  between HAN and 9
  1/16th between 9 and U and /
  1/8th  between / and 80515 (1/16th between the numbers)
  1/8th  between numbers and G

The U and the G appear to have been stamped freehand after the fact, 
they are not straight and the G is up from the number line.
The letters and numbers are stamped in, not raised out.
The windshield ID tag is identical right down to the  hand stamped U and 
G but the G is tilted back a bit on the WS tag where it is tilted 
forward on the frame rail tag. Both Us are catiwompus just a bit too.
