On, I may be a bit biased since I am originally from NJ and now live in the
Seattle area. First I have never been to Wenatchee, but from what I can tell
it is in the center of WA and there is not much around.  You are right on
the Columbia river which is pretty.  Since you are in Eastern WA you get
real weather, cold in the winter, hot in summer.   You are about 2.5 hours
from Seattle.  If you don't mind the remoteness it is a nice place AFAIK.
Looked nice when I passed through.    Go spend a weekend there and see what
you think.   I would think that the forests and hiking there are great.

I have to wonder what kind of job is in Wanatchee; it does not look very
big.
