[Spridgets] Engine startup photo-builders help?

Yeah, it's the boss in the block. I've pulled the
distributor, pulled the drive spindle, and my
inspection (and my fuzzy photo) show that the hole in
the boss is missing a piece. It flippin' broke, I
guess, during my initial startup. There is just a tiny
bit of wear on the gear on the spindle. It must have
been kicked out/off it's matching gear when things
went south.

I still don't understand what jammed to cause
this...or did the broken spindle hole start the event?
Or did I Gomer the assembly?

New block, huh? Dang dang dang. Just finally finished
getting this one together.

PS. You may not want to answer this post just in case
my incredibly bad luck rubs off in some way. 2 weeks
ago it was a falling tree on my GT6, now it's a ruined
block. Approach my bad karma with caution ;/
