[Spridgets] Leaf springs

Although I have the half elliptical version, on our 1966 Sprite, I have 
175/60x13 tires on Minitators.  My springs were sagging and new ones 
brought it up to level height and also added lateral stability (I also 
used the red urethane bushings throughout) and this, along with rolling 
the lip like has been described, I eliminated almost all tire rub.  It 
will occur infrequently if we have a full load of stuff and 2 people and 
hard turns, but for most driving it's gone.  And the car is level.  The 
next step will be a panhard rod when I get around to it.  Perhaps these 
changes might be as effective on the quarter-elliptical setup.
