Dwell angle should be set at 60 degrees +/-2. The beauty of setting
your dwell angle precisely at 60 is that, if you then set the timing
just right; each time you reset the dwell to 60 degrees, the timing will
also be spot-on. If you set point gap with a feeler gauge; you will,
invariably be a couple of degrees off 60, and your timing will not be
just right.
If you set points on a very regular basis with a feeler gauge, you will
become consistent enough to get is close each time. If, however, you
are like the rest of us and check dwell angle/point gap only once a
month or so; you will be much more consistent with a dwell meter.

Hello all, does anyone have the dwell numbers for a Bugeye? All that
I can find are the point gap numbers.
Thanks,
Lester
