Yes, he held them in such contempt that the COMPLETELY remodeled the
IMS to the tune of several hundred million dollars in renovations
EXCLUSIVELY for the benefit of F1 all out of the IMS own pocket, and
was rewarded with a pathetic showing of fans and participants for a
race series that has fewer passes than the average cockroach race.
Good Riddance in my opinion.  IMS still has the most competitive
racing series in the world.  The IRL has more lead changes in one race
than an entire season of some other series!
