[Spridgets] alternators and tires

several years ago one of the AH club news letters  had an article  about 
converting an alternator to POS ground. Don't know why you would want to  do this  
but apparently it can be done.Also I just checked "Just Brits and  the site 
won't do the tire date ID. I assume it is "week of the year followed by  year"?
