Hi Bill,
 
I've never changed the oil before 500 miles before but follow the 500 with  a 
1000.  I always thought some of the bits in the oil was meant to help the  
wear in process?  Doesn't sound like to good advice does it?
 
What about filter changes - at (200), 500 and a 1000?
