[Spridgets] Dumb Question

I never could figure out how those were supposed to function.  Guess the
rubber "grew" as RPMs increased thereby causing some mystical tensioning
of the chain??  The 1275 dbl. row chain/sprockets/harmonic balancer is
better for your 948 (IMHO) if your racer organization so allows.

The rubber rings were/are a tensioner, just kind of snugging things
up a bit. The replacement sprockets do not have provision for them.
One could argue their efficacy, and many folks removed them from the
sprockets that could take them.
