[Spits] front brake issue??

BTW, the SpitBits e-catalog has photos of both types of calipers.

Did you try to use the new caliper with the old rotor?
I assume that the currently-available rotors are repros.  Maybe hey are not
properly made?

I recently needed new rear brake cylinders.  The available parts are
repros.  They are fairly good,
but the surfaces that slide on the backing plate were not machined smooth,
and I had to dress them with a file.

A lifetime of experience has taught me that report parts are NEVER as good
as originals.  :-(
