[Spits] Ignition Lamp

 Grant,
            I do know ( at least I've heard)that the bulb is necessary for 
the alt. to charge.( if the bulb burns out the alt will not charge) If that 
relates to the wattage,and if an L.E. D. would work,I do not know.
