That tool works very well for bending Spitfire hubs!  You need the Churchill
tool to stabilize the hub while applying the pressure to the axle.

It is similar though a little different shape.

I purchased a Craftsman version of this about 40 yrs ago and have used it
to pull Spit hubs over the years:
