[Spits] "CV-Joint" driveshaft

My car has the driveshaft with the big can-like cv-joint thing on one 
end and a regular U-joint on the other. How do you service that big 
joint? I assume it should have some grease in it or something? I've 
noticed that it has a good bit of play in it and lets out a clang on 
occasion....
