That's what my 72 Spit has always had in it.  I have never noticed a 
problem with launch.

Fellow Listers;
First, thanks to all who responded about the interchangeability of the
Spitfire differentials. 

At present, I am considering putting a GT6 diff into my Spitfire. 
Therefore,
I have a request for opinions....Has anyone on the list installed the GT6 
3.27
diff into their Spitfire?  And if so, what comments do you have on
drivability?  Is the car hard to get off the line?
