For those really concerned about this, I'd still recommend Chevron Delo 400
LE.  I use the 15w-40 grade.  This is an industrial/commercial grade oil
formulated to keep fleet vehicles going for years.  I started using it when
it was recommended to me by Crane Cams when replacing a cam with a couple
bad lobes in a 283 in a '64 Nova.  A local auto parts dealer (and racer)
that I used to buy parts from had previously recommended Delo gear oil for
trans and differential use.  In his Henry J drag car, he was seeing a 20
degree drop in oil temp in his diff over the next best he could find,
indicating significantly less friction.

For those into the numbers, Zn is .13% or 1300ppm.  Here's Chevron's data

The latest API SM/ILSAC GF-4 category  calls for reduced Zinc and Phosphorus
levels to allow extended catalyst life  in current model vehicles. There
appear to be field issues associated with  the SM/GF-4 oil's level of
antiwear in the classic car engines known as flat  tappet cam engines.  The
current late model passenger car engines are  not flat tappet cam engines
and have no reported field issues related to  the level of antiwear
chemistry in the SM/GF-4  oils.

Castrol TWS Motorsport  10W-60 (BMW dealerships) (min Zn = 0.10 = 1000
ppm)(full  synthetic)

BMW Long Life 5W-30 (BMW dealerships)(min Zn = 0.095 = 950  ppm)(full
synthetic)
