If it to the East and your antenna is in a western window you have a whole house between you and the transmitter.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I rather doubt the sun is interfering with the signal. The pixelation is due to a weak signal and this could be caused by something blocking the signal or due to the distance between you and the transmitter. Television broadcast frequencies are line-of-sight and can be blocked by structures that absorb the energy or by the horizon. Do you have aluminum screens on the window?</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">You might also try antenna orientation. Try rotating it from horizontal to vertical and see if that improves things.
