Not a direct answer, but hopefully useful.<br>

I have a gas chain saw, but cut more branches than trees and was in
the need for a battery pole saw I bought one of these from Harbor
Freight:<br>
<br>
ATLAS 80V Brushless Cordless, 10 in. Pole Saw<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.harborfreight.com/brands/atlas/80v-tools/80v-brushless-cordless-10-in-pole-saw-tool-only-59209.html">https://www.harborfreight.com/brands/atlas/80v-tools/80v-brushless-cordless-10-in-pole-saw-tool-only-59209.html</a><br>
<br>
The line also has a ATLAS 80V Brushless Cordless 18 in. Chainsaw<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.harborfreight.com/brands/atlas/80v-tools/80v-brushless-cordless-18-in-chainsaw-tool-only-56937.html">https://www.harborfreight.com/brands/atlas/80v-tools/80v-brushless-cordless-18-in-chainsaw-tool-only-56937.html</a><br>
<br>
Both have good reviews. The pole saw is fantastic. Last Labor Day
HF had a promotion where if you bought a battery (now $139), you got
a free tool. I also picked up an Atlas battery pole hedge trimmer
that is great. With both tools, the battery outlasts my arms. I've
been very impressed with both tools. My current battery tools are
Makita and I couldn't justify the price for the above items for
occasional use. I previously used Dewalt and the lower priced
Dewalt had bad reviews for plastic parts breaking.<br>
<br>
HF also has a well reviewed lower priced BAUER 20V Cordless 10 in.
Chainsaw:<br>
