<font size=2 face="sans-serif">I'm trying to put up outdoor string lights
to light up a porch (that leads to the shop).  I want string lights,
but it seems that all the ones I can find barely give off any light, or
they are construction ones and way too harsh and not meant for permanent
mounting.</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Ideally, they will plug in (or hardwire),
they will have a remote control (but NOT an app for a phone) for on and
off.  If they can change colors and a dimmable, that is a great bonus.</font>

 Amazon are full of ones that meet these needs, except they are way
too dim.</font>
