like driver software is corrupted (either from virus or just bad luck.)</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">I guess it is
most likely in the TWAIN driver.</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">I'm a die hard
Brother fan, BTW and recently bought a HP Color LaserJet Pro M283fdw Wireless
All-in-One Laser Printer that I couldn't be happier with.</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">What I'm about
to say goes against EVERYTHING I believe, In fact, I have to start it by
saying I HATE!!!!!!! Smart phones and the apps on them.  I believe
the ONLY apps that should exist are the ones before an entree. 8>)</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">With that said,
there are "photo to PDF" apps that you use your phone to just
take a picture of the page and it converts it to a PDF (or other format.)
 They are often free and really are faster than a scanner.</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">Maybe try that
and give up on the scanner for now.</span>

that I suggested that, but I think it will work for you.</span>
