It’s an old 6-ink photo unit but hasn’t given me much trouble. <div><br></div><div>As for the HP color laser, a friend was required to buy particular HP printer years ago because of the software he was using. Toner was expensive but since he didn’t use color much he figured that replacing the $150 black cartridge wasn’t a deal killer. A few months later it just stopped with no warning that the toner was out. He bought a black cartridge, then noticed that the color cartridges were also needing replacement even though he hadn’t printed any color documents. Turns out his printer used all the toners when printing black & white & that couldn’t be turned off. to say goes against EVERYTHING I believe, In fact, I have to start it by
saying I HATE!!!!!!! Smart phones and the apps on them. I believe
the ONLY apps that should exist are the ones before an entree. 8>)</span>

there are "photo to PDF" apps that you use your phone to just
take a picture of the page and it converts it to a PDF (or other format.)
They are often free and really are faster than a scanner.</span>

<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">Maybe try that
and give up on the scanner for now.</span>
