Oil or water quenching, that sort of thing. </div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">I don't know when or where he made it. Mechanics Arts High School? Superior Packing? Steve Ethier and Sons Keating? US Navy? Surely not at the City of Saint Paul Building Department, but in those years the family business was still in operation. He also had buddies all over town who had businesses in the trades.</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div>My guess is that he forged the ends first and then put in the small bend, then put in the big bend.
